Is it possible to not only order a new baggage compartment door but the entire seal/surround/hinge?

I have the 2022 22rb with the 12v fridge. On the outside, there's the big black air vent cover, that's required for a 3 way fridge.

On the 2024 model the 12v fridge is now standard and they converted that big black air panel opening to a storage bin door, with finished space behind it that would be perfect for handing rolled hose.

I peeked between the slats and it looks like my unit has the same finished space as the 2024's. I'd like to convert the opening on mine to the storage door. Then again, I could just store things behind the big black air vent cover, as long as they were secured. I haven't tried to take the panel off, so have no idea how inconvenient the might be.

If you can use one the same size as yours or on other late model RVs than you can probably order one via you dealer from Jayco.
Alternatively, you might get one from a RV junkyard or which there are many around the nation.
Etrailer has some, search access door on the website.

Found it!

I found a thread, older 2019 from Good Sam board.

Got/read some good information, like there are no baggage doors made with the same tight corner radius that will fit that fridge vent opening. BUT, there's a member who posted photos of how he made the space more easily accessible by attaching a hinge and butterfly locks to the fridge vent cover.
