Anyone put their 321RSTS into a 40 foot deep post frame building? This would be 40 foot outside measurement. The inside dimensions would be a hair over 38 feet with the garage door closed. I know this is close and it’s impossible to get an actual measurement(down to the inch) from the ladder to the tip of the cap with it being rounded. Eyeballing it looks to be 37 feet. The information that came with trailer says it’s 36’4” but that doesn’t look right to me unless my eye is way off.

Believe me I would like to build a bigger one but the lay of the land doesn’t allow it. I’m maxed out at a 60x40 and can’t get a trailer in on the 60 foot side. I’m stuck with 40 deep on the door sides. I know it is leaving inches to spare but it’s just going to be put inside for winter storage.

If anyone has any actual numbers or experience I sure would appreciate your input.

Eagle 321RSTS exterior measurements
Length 36’ 6” (includes ladder)
Height 13’ 4”
Width 8’ 1”
Width with Slides Out 12’ 10”
S1 – Bedroom slide-out extends 23"
S2 – Kitchen slide-out extends 23"
S3 – Large slide-out extends 39"
Staircase extends 54"
Door width 28"

Sunday I'll be back home and can use a better measuring tape (continuous roll) and will post any changes to total length.

Buy yourself a walking wheel tape at Harbor Freight or similar. SOLVED

When I had a 321RSTS I kept it in a covered 40’ spot at my storage area with room to spare on both ends. Not much on the back end. I had to squeeze between the back bumper and the wall. If it had a door on the front, it would’ve had space for that.

Thank you for taking the time to do that. That’s within a few inches of what the wife and myself tried to get figured out. We are in the Ohio valley and not much flat land. We have been trying to. Just pull a 200 foot tape as tight as we can and get close.
If I rolled a measuring wheel where it is sitting it would probably be over 50 feet.
This gives me a good number to go by and now to hope it fits in the building.

Moral of the story don’t be cheap and build a bigger building.
