38FLWS furnace access for removal

Does anyone know how to get access to remove the furnace. It's to tight to go in behind the water closet. Is there some way to get to it from the inside I need access to the stack switch and board to see why it won't light.

We are having issues with our Furnace also, it started last night and we have the 38FLWS too. The thermostat went into lock out mode and we had to reset it and it worked for a few hours and then went into lock out again. Now, it won't light the burner, the blower comes on for a few seconds, no heat and then it shuts itself off ? So, we are trying to determine if it is a thermostat problem or a furnace problem....but need to know how to access the furnace.

Manufactures can put them in some awkward places to service them, but can be removed. Sometimes we need a skinny mechanic to remove them as they can be tucked behind the water manifold and much wiring and ductwork. Because of the lack of the outside access service door, a furnace has to be removed and bench tested.
My recommendation have a service door installed. With the service door installed you have access to the complete operational system of the furnace and are able to service them as DIYer.

Thank you, that will be the next item on the list.I can't believe there is not an external access door.....but first we have to figure out why the unit is acting up.

It could be a stuck sail switch. The description sounds like what my furnace was doing. I accessed the unit thru the basement and rapped on the case to un-stick the the switch.
So far, the furnace is still working. It might work for y’all, too.
