Hi all,
Well thought we had this issue resolved with changing the breaker and AC ran well all day yesterday. We turned it off last night to give it a break and it was cool enough to open windows. Now today when we try to turn the AC on you can tell it tries to run, slows down for a few seconds but then is not putting out any cool air. Then it makes a slight sound like it's trying to work but then kicks into a higher blowing speed but still no cool air. Any ideas before we pack up and give up? Thank you all.

AC problem

Sounds like you may have power problems at the CG. What voltage at the post?

50 amp at the post converted down to 30 amp for the trailer. Everything else is running without issue including all lights, water heater, fridge etc.
Sounds like AC will just not engage when switched over to cool.

What voltage do you have? We get your plugged into a 50 amp outlet but voltage needs to be measured with a meter.

You are using too many things! Turn water heater to gas and try it, if still wont start turn fridge to gas. You cant run everything all at once when going for 50 to 30 amp.

Vicr and Grumpy's question needs to be answered so there is a troubleshooting base to start from. Other suggestions are just throwing darts at this point...

You're right! Most of these electrical or battery threads get started with questions from people that have extensive knowledge in those areas but the questions go unanswered and the darts and spaghetti fly everywhere.

Sounds like your compressor is trying to start but then shuts off on overload/amp switch. Others are correct in that you should try and remove some additional electrical loads off your 30amp supply. If your a/c still does this after dropping other electrical loads, you may want to check your start capacitor on your a/c compressor.
