Has anyone upgraded to 15xxx BTU ducted AC? We have a 2017 Northpoint 375BHFS and somehow lightning (did not hit camper or
Come through post) fried multiple things. One being our thermostats and our main AC.
 
You do not list and symptoms or what you have investigated so here’s a shot in the dark suggestion. Our thermostats (2) blew their internal fuses when I connected my battery in reverse. Not saying that’s your problem but it’s something to check.
 
The thermostats were replaced and the ducted unit would still not work. The front on is wiring great. They want to replace the broken ducted in with a bigger unit.
 
Welcome to the forum. Curious did you have a surge protector plugged in? If so what brand?
 
I did. And it was fine. They said it did not come through the electric line that comes into the camper. They thing it came through the ground? It burnt the converter the inverter my slide controls my television my stereo the AC on the roof both thermostats for the front bedroom and the main part of the RV the other two televisions the outdoor television outdoor fridge the main large residential fridge everything else the water heater that was tankless all that none of that was affected it’s the most mysterious thing they’ve ever seen
