We are in the process of "turning a new leaf" as we await the manufacture of our Jayco Eagle. We are making a huge lifestyle change to become fulltime RVers.

I feel energy, excitement and anxiety in a pendulum swing of emotion. It's really hard not to feel overwhelmed.

It would help to know the delivery date of the unit more than a couple of weeks in advance so that we could make reservations for motels and campgrounds, especially because it will be somewhere around Labor Day... but I'm trying to deal with the unknown.

Suggestions for move-in day and the first few weeks would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the road.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum New Leaf! I treasure those days waiting for our tt to be built. The hardest 6 weeks waiting for the pickup date! The day we put the downpayment on our tt, the dealer was able to get a tentative "born" date and ultimate "delivery" date. It was verified within a couple of days of the down payment, but mainly because we went to Indiana to pick it up. If you are picking your Eagle up from the dealer who is not in Middlebury, the dealer will be able to tell you the 'build' date, but may not be able to commit to a delivery date as they are at the mercy of the person who brings the Eagle to your dealer for you. Contact your dealer and ask them for the build date and estimate for delivery.

Congrats on becoming full-timers! We have a forum dedicated to FullTimers! Check it out. Also, here are some suggestions to help you with your new Eagle before you take it out for the first campout.... Things to Know :)

Welcome to the forum newleaf. Don't feel overwhelmed, things will come together all in good time. Main thing is to enjoy the new life style.
Great floorplan you're going to have there!
