Adding a window to slide out at the head of the bed.

I am wanting to cut a window into the face of the slide out on my Melbourne 24L. It would be in the area where the old headboard was.

Any advice or suggestions? Has anyone done this?

Contact JAYCO for the framing schematic. Also if you're still under warranty I would wait.

Be careful how you word your request. Give them only the info you need to, such as asking for the wall drawings for your slide.

Don't tell them you want to install a window.

You do need to provide your Vin #

I called and they sent the drawings right away.
