Air Bags for Toyota CrewMax short bed

I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 2WD short bed. I currently have Timbrens on the pickup. I have a Reese 5th Wheel hitch in the bed. I was looking at the Firestone air bags. The Timbrens do great but I am looking for something that will not give as much when I tow the 5th wheel. I was told that the Firestone air bag could not be used because there was a 5th wheel hitch installed. She advised there was not enough room under the truck with the 5th wheel hitch installed in the bed.

I spoke with another provider and he said the Hellwig would do the job even with the 5th wheel hitch. Anyone using air bags in a short bed Tundra with a 5th wheel hitch installed? Are the air bags better than the Timbrens? Any information would be greatly appreciated !

Not to change the subject, but what is the cargo capacity as listed on the yellow sticker on the drivers door jamb? And what 5er are you towing? I love my Tundra and have one of the higher capacities I've seen at 1528, but, I'm not sure it has the capacity to haul a 5er?

I never used timberns but have used air bags. I recommend onboard compressor and adjustment. Otherwise you will be using shop air to make adjustments and you can't do that on the fly. They make several options. I have air lifts wireless compressor system. They have cheaper options. You can use any brand onboard system as they use the same size lines.

I have a 2011 Toyota Tundra double cab 4wd with the 6.5' bed. I am using the firestone air bags and have a fifth wheel hitch mounted on bed rails. No problem for me.

I had them on my 2008 crewmax and they did great. About 20 psi for pulling my 28.5 rsts jayco 5th and about 50 psi when carrying a 2000 lb travel lite slide in camper and pulling a boat.

Thanks for the replies. I checked on some of the other name brand airbags. There are some available. After reading some more info on the forums I ordered Roadmaster Active Suspension system. They are cheaper than the air bags and is advertised to increase payload by 25-40 %
It pulls good now but just trying to get where it doesn't squat so much. The Roadmaster product is also suppose to help in several different ways. I will not have them for a couple weeks but the install videos make it look like a fairly easy installation. I am not traveling cross country.lol The longest trip I go to camp is within 100 miles of my home.
