Read about this and had to see for myself.
Closed vents and dropped speaker, to my surprise air was rushing out of ceiling. Proceeded to drop vents and found 3 of 5 had quarter inch or more gaps prior to meeting ducts in Ceiling.
Went on to separate vent assy then used HVAC foil tape to seal each one to duct.
Now when air is on a significant difference in air velocity can be felt.
Good stuff and only took about an hour.

AC Air Pressure

When I pulled the filter covers in my 16 Eagle they were cover with wood shavings and saw dust! Wish we would have checked earlier,

Interesting. Many folks claim to get better air flow by trimming down the vent assembly. Appears yours were too short.
I need to go check mine. I want some better airflow

I have very little flow out 3 of the 6 AC vents in the main part of my 5er. I suspect some duct issue too. Your post confirms that this could be my issue too. Thanks.

Same here. I need to look into this. My vents mid cabin are pretty weak. I attributed it to the flow spreading to the for and aft vents which have good flow, but maybe there's more to it.

Hmm, thanks for posting. I'm going to check mine while the rig is parked out front this week.

If you leave all the grills open ln the unit it will reduce the cool air pumped out to the ducts. We always close one or two of them.

I removed all the ceiling vents and foil taped them in my TT this past weekend. I left the collars off. Unbelievable difference in air flow. I couldn't believe that it was made like that.

Curious do the collars just sit on top of the vents? Doing my camper this weekend!

Essentially that but with 4 little plastic tabs that clip in to hold them in place on the grill. I just gave them a squeeze on the outer side of the collar to remove pressure and popped them off real easy.
