Alexandria Nebraska Halloween weekend Oct. th. & 20th.

There will be a fun weekend celebrating Halloween Oct. 19th. & 20th. at Alexandria State Lakes campground in Alexandria, Nebraska. Everyone decorates their campsites & gives out treats for the kids. Should be a great time.

We couldn't make it last year but were told it was lots of fun!

We have done the Halloween themed thing here as well the last 5 years at a nearby CG that runs it for 3 weekends in October. Its becoming a fun tradition. Last year weather was lousy though.

We have always done one of the 3 Halloween weekends at Indian Cave State Park on the Missouri river near Falls City Nebraska in the past. With Reserve America handling our parks it was impossible to get a campsite this year for us. I was on the computer at the exact time a year ago that we could reserve and it said all sites were full. I think there is a glitch in their system. If I wanted to go 4 days early I could probably get a walk in site but 120 miles is too far to take the risk & I really don't want to take that many days off work.
