Well let me start by saying hello to everyone here. I live in Southern Calif and have been retired from Hostess cake since 2004. My wife is a retired pediatric nurse.
My wife and I just purchased our first travel trailer, it's an 08 Jayco Jay Flight G2. It looks new and has hardly been used. We should take delivery of it Tuesday or Wednesday. We will be pulling it with a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. We have traveled all over the US on Honda Gold Wing motorcycles but since her back injury several years back that has stopped. I still ride a motorcycle (can't give that up) but now it's only day rides. We thought the trailer would be something that we can enjoy together again. So as a new guy I'm sure I will have some questions to ask. Please bear with me since I'm new at this.
Maybe we will meet up with some of you one day. For now we plan on staying around our home area, Southern Calif. but once we get some more free time we will probably get out more.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Joe in Calif! Ask away! Many members here have experience/knowlege regarding just about anything you can throw at them. What's nice about JOF is that they share information without berating! Congrats on the 'new' tt! :)

Nice looking camper and Jeep! Do you have the V8 in the jeep? I just bought Jayco but have camped in many other brands for quite a few years. I'm sure you will enjoy and love the trailer.

Thanks for the welcome, I don't have the V8 I have the 3.6 V6 but it is rated at 5000 lbs and the G2 I'm pulling is about 4200, So I told my wife she can't take to much STUFF. :hihi:

I was just curious as I used to have a jeep with the inline 6 4.0L and always wanted one with the Hemi. Good luck on the not taking to much stuff haha.
