I had seen this on other forums but thought maybe this did not occur in the newer GMs - but I am not sure. The Integrated Brake Controller does not always work with the Hydraulic Disc brakes and you have to get a special adapter. My dealer brought this up today - we pick up trailer in 2 weeks and the part we would need is out of stock pretty much everywhere. There was a bulletin that had come out - I do not know if there is one for the '21/'22 models. This is for the 2020:

The second page in RED text says the part that can be used, but my question is if anyone knows will I really need this? 2022 Pinnacle 32RLTS with the Disc Brake option. 2022 GMC Sierra 3500.

This is the fix: https://static.oemdtc.com/TSB/MC-10176016-0001.pdf

I'm not surprised. I needed to get an adapter for my last trailer because I upgraded all of it's lights to LEDs and my 2021 GMC truck couldn't determine if the lights were working. I suspect the lower resistance confused the warning system. Maybe your disc system resistance is too different from what 'normal' trailers have. Here is what the adapter I got looks like:
