I just purchased a 2017 GMC Denali 2500 to pull my Jayco 30.5 BHLT . My first Diesel! Does anyone know of a system or puck adapter that I can use with my Reese Elite 5th Wheel so that I can avoid drilling holes in my new (to me) truck bed to mount the original rails? I see the Demco for $475.00 but there is a sweet adapter out here for Fords and Rams that is made by Reese for $275.00. I also see there is an adapter made by Husky with (4) separate receptors but I don't know if it will fit my Reese. As always any thoughts or advice will be appreciated.

When I upgraded to a 2018 chevy 3500 with the 5th wheel puck system I let my reese 16k go and bought the B&W 20k companion for just over $900. Best move I ever made. I believe gm uses curts rail systems from what they told me when I called gm.

Does the truck bed have the gooseneck/5th wheel prep (I have found Chevy does not call it PUCK like other MFG's, at least in my area)?

If you have an older Reese hitch that was for the older pucks, Reese has a kit for the newer trucks

I have a full rectangle "picture frame" adapter like the Mopar unit you can buy directly for making rails in your puck bed.

I would try the Husky first as it's only about $160.00 bucks and if bought from a reputable company, return might be easy enough if they don't work.
