Awning lights fell off.

I see it's been some time since this post was made but I just had the exact same thing happen (and it's 4 yrs later (thanks Jayco)). What did you end up doing and did it fix it? Thanks!

They come from CAREFREE ....

Carefree offers LED lighting for brand new awnings purchased with your RV, as an add-on kit to your existing awning or as a replacement kit to a strip already installed.

Had the same problem with our 19XUD - used caulk along the entire back of the strip - it has been holding up great - good thing it happened when parked! Yes you are right the stitching them to the underside of the awning... apparently, with common cotton thread which is not UV-resistant. I would advice all to check before heading out- thank you for the post!
I used DAP Dynaflex Ultra under the tab and fitted the tab under where the tab was sewn onto the awning - I check it each time before we head out to make sure it is secure - so far so good--- Hope this helps folks Thank you

We installed the ones from RecPro mentioned previously. Our strip disappeared completely before we were able to reattach it. I did buy a dimmer bc some had mentioned that another brand was way too bright but I think ours is great and we don’t need it. We attached to the side of the rig instead of the awning. Seems very secure so far. Several on the Facebook group have had the same problem as well.

Stitched on awing led light strip coming undone Jayco Trailer

Stitched on awing led light strip coming undone. Has any one used Gorilla Clear Mounting Tape to reattach these lights?

Yes, I have tried Gorilla tape in the past. It works only for a short time. Good enough to use for a very temporary fix. But, not much beyond that.

My awning lights disappeared entirely during our last major trip. Trying to figure out what to use to replace them with… the connector looks like a squarish end with 4 recessed/female plugs. Does that sound like a Jayco standard? I’m not seeing anything like it online.

Okay, so my previous post was way off with my connector description. This is all that's left of my 2017 jay feather awning LED light system... I'm really struggling to find any 12v male connectors that look anything like this, and it's tight enough that i'm not keen on chopping it off to put a new connector onto it.
I guess I gotta do what I gotta do, but I just hate cutting wires.

Thank you for the suggestion. After pulling a bit of cable out, I think I’ll be able to wire whatever I need to.
