Hello, we just purchased a JayFeather 19H hybrid and I have been doing some research on leveling, we do alot of festivals in pastures and the sites are never level. We had a pop-up and used the BAL tire leveler and loved the ease of using it. After some research I see some that are using 2 of them to level light weight trailers with tandem wheels. Has anyone any experience with this? Or see any draw backs to doing so.

Thanks

Mike

Mike welcome to the Jayco forums.

I have never used one myself, but I see where they may work ok on a PUP (pop-up). My concern once you get into the HTT's TT's, etc., that the tubular frame may have a tendency to settle into the ground thus placing unwanted weight on the corner stabalizers. IMO a couple of wood boards (easy to store) will provide a better foundation for the tires for leveling needs.

Thanks Bob, even when using the popup we would place a 3/4 inch peice of plywood under the leveler, so it would not sink, we would do the same thing here with the 2 wheels. The weight should not be a issue since each one can support 2000 lbs.

Thanks
