Banff/Lake Louise

Hi, I’m going crazy trying to find a campground or boondocking site for my fifthwheel mid July for 3 nights.

Any suggestions other than Parks Canada Resevations website which shows no availability?

Who has boondocked near Lake Louise/Banff that can offer help, please?

June, July and August are near impossible to find a place nearby they get booked up very fast early in the year, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Wish you good luck. But keep trying you never know there could be a cancellation.

Snaring Overflow is where we boondocked in Jasper National Park. Easy drive to many magnificent places including Lake Louise. No reservations taken. Its a big dirt field with clean outhouses ( permanent) Looks like nothing but the views are absolutely stunning.

Google Snaring Campground
google maps shows both the campground and the adjacent overflow
Sorry no help on apps
Don't use much other than Google maps for our travels
Snaring Overflow is about 15 km east of Jasper ( a lovely town less crowded than Banff) on Rt 16 the Yellowhead Highway
Dont forget to ride the aerial tram just west of Jasper and whistle back at the marmots which are everywhere

Thank you. I found a campground a bit closer for our short 3 night itinerary, about 90 minutes from Banff and 60 minutes from Lake Louise.
I appreciate everyone’s replies.

Try searching very early in morning or late at night. I was able to secure sites after people cancelled. It is tough, may take multiple days, but it does work sometimes.

X2 on Jasper. We just stayed for 5 nights and it was never full.
