I own a 2020 245rls. I've added 6 100w solalor panela with matching controller. I also bought a 2000w renogy inverter for the sole purpose of running a tv in the evening ( runnung long enought to watch a movie during dinner) and a Keurig k cup coffee maker for my morning coffee.
The tv runs at 65w plus a few led light. My concern is the 1400w coffee maker during initial heating.

My queation is, Will my 2 Acid agm 70ah per battery be able to handle the brew for a few min.

I'm not interested in going 2 200ah or larger lithium batteries yet. I just want to see if I can keep from using my generator during quiet hours with the current system that I have.

Yes I know that a battery upgrade is the way to go but I'd rather not spend another 500$ right now.

Assuming the batteries are in good condition, Yes. What I see as a bigger issue for most large inverter setups is that the battery to the inverter wiring is too light. You really need some big 12v battery cables to support the 1400w coffee maker via an inverter, something around the 1/0 awg. (even larger would be better, especially if you want the full output capability of the 2000w inverter for more than a few minutes or if the inverter isn't extremely close to the batteries) ~CA

My alternative answer for quiet time coffee is a thermos I filled the night before....$25 or so.

The coffee maker is running on 110v, not 12v. The current draw is just over 12 amps from the inverter. The TV will be pulling another .5 amps running on 110v from the inverter.

Not discounting the battery to inverter wiring, that should be a relatively short run.

I was thinking the same thing about the cables so I upgraded them to 2/0 just to be sure they could handle things a better

I finally got the inverter installed and plugged in a extension cord to the tv and it worked flawless.
The real test was the coffee maker. Tonight I made my 1st cup of coffee with out shore power or a generator.

Now I have to get to work on runninga dedicated plug for those 2 locations.
