Battery question

I have a Crown group 34 12 volt deep cycle battery on my hybrid. I installed a shut-off switch and leave it switched off whenever it's not in use. I checked it a while ago and the voltage was reading 11.7 volts. Is this normal? I have it hooked up to a charger right now to bring it back up. After having it plugged in to shore power last week, I checked the voltage after shutting the switch off and it read 13.3 volts. Do I have an issue?

We're heading out on the 25th for 6 days of "boondocking" with only the generator to to replinish the battery after each night.

Any advice from exprienced campers would be appreciated. I still have time to buy a new battery but this one is just a little over a year old.

You still must have an issue or a parasitic draw somehow. I have a 12v battery I removed when I did my new battery bank over 2 weeks ago. Sitting there in the garage it still tests at 12.5v
Check the water in the battery and make sure it's above the plates in each cell. If your going to do some boondocking your going to want to nail down what's drawing amperage out of your battery and when it's drawing it. You'll damage that battery letting it get that low and shorten it's charging capacity and lifespan. Buying another battery and wiring them together to double your amp hours or chucking that one and doing a pair of 6v will do wonders for your system if you plan on doing more boondocking.
The "Golden Rule" is to never let your batteries go below 50% or damage occurs

So, Apparently the on/off switch is not shutting it off completely. That would be the only way it would have a draw-down, correct?

I wrote a long post about this issue (with pictures) a couple of weeks ago. I'm on the Tapatalk app right now and don't know how to link a post but if you search my username or just 12v you should find it. Short answer- on my trailer, NO cutting off the switch wasn't even close to cutting off 'everything'. I did some major rewireing.
