Bedroom Fan

I searched and couldn't find anything, so here I am.

The fan in the bedroom is thermostat controlled. When the cover opens, the fan should come on. It won't come on. Anyone have this problem? I'm guessing it's the switch. Easy fix, right?

That was a common problem on a Create A Breeze I once had. Fix was a little lube from above and manually operate it with finger a few times. If that doesn't worry bypass it to see if is defective.
The manufacturer sent me a new switch.

I did try the silicone lube and manual manipulation a few times. Guess I'll call the company. Thank you.

Fixed

I shut the power to the RV off, took the switch out, wire brushed it, silicone sprayed it, put it back together and it's working now. Thanks!

I thought I had the same problem on my greyhawk 31SS, turned out to be operator error.
1. Be sure you thermostat is set so it triggers the fan.
2. Give it some time. On my Greyhawk, the on/off controlled by the thermostat is not instant.

Did you find the problem with that fan yet? If it is like mine the fan also has a big knob to open the cover and that knob and shaft moves up and down in the housing. I think that overrides the thermostat, so check that. I haven't used mine that much, but I think that's how it works.

Auto Fan

I think you can just manually turn the fan on by turning the switch with the numbers on it..... that's how I turn it on anyway. You can set it to pull or push the air...

No, if the vent switch doesn't work the switch with the numbers does nothing, at least in my MH.

Same problem here. When we picked up the coach it worked, a few days later it quit. I couldn't get the screen off to manually turn the blades, so it's on my list of things to ask the dealer to fix. New 2014 Greyhawk 31FS. We had one of these in our old Minnie Winnie. The big knob is only to open or close the vent if the a motor quits, it has nothing to do with the fan itself.
