BMPRO Tablet Replacement

My BMPRO tablet has gotten stuck on the dreaded “boot loop”. It constantly just shows the logo and restarts without ever fully getting to the main screen. I took the tablet out and charged it with a wall outlet. I have left it on the charger for multiple days with it just still constantly rebooting itself.

So I bought a new tablet to replace it. As I was putting the new tablet back into the mount I accidentally dropped it. I’m not great with the inner workings of electronics, but after dropping it, this strand (don’t know what it’s called) disconnected from the circuit board. See attached picture.
My question is, is there a way to fix this so I can use my new replacement tablet and still be able to pair my phone via Bluetooth? Or am I going to have to buy a new circuit board?

Thanks for the help everyone.

That ribbon cable plugs into the socket. It's supposed to come out. You have nothing to worry about.
Notice in this photo, I've just lifted up the black bar.. that holds the ribbon cable in place.
Just lift it up, put the ribbon cable into the slot and lower the bar to 'lock'. Be sure the ribbon cable is squared into the socket as shown in the last photo.

Note: once your tablet is plugged back into the black plastic housing, it will not appear to work until the white square socket is plugged back in and your camper is powering it on. Your new tablet also needs to have a full charge.

You are tha man, saved this mans life lol

One things to add, the pins can be easily bent, especially after being forced out from the drop. Make certain they are all lined up correctly before pressing them back together. Y

Where did you buy the new tablet, was it a direct fit.

Thanks

BmPro Dead Battery

Own a 2020 Northpoint 5th wheel and had to replace BmPro
tablet in the Coach because the battery died in it.
Battery is not replaceable so had to purchase entire new tablet. $$$
Wondering if anybody had similar issue in 4 years of owning their coach.

The battery is replaceable, just do a search BMPro Battery Replacement and you’ll see pretty detailed information on exactly what battery to get and how to do it. It does take a bit of persuading. I bought the battery and I’m waiting for the tablet to die out of warranty before I crack it open.

I need black bar to reattach the ribbon. Any help?
It simply folds over on top of the ribbon.
Has the black bar simply popped off or has it been broken off the ribbon connector? Here are a few options to consider:
1) Take the board to a pc repair shop and ask them how you might purchase another connector and then switch the unbroken part(black bar) onto your connector. You can find where a local pc repair shop is in your area by doing a google search with: "pc repair near me"
2) visit teambmpro.com and used their 'contact us' option. Inquire how you can get a replacement circuit board
3) visit eBay and purchase another tablet so you can get a replacement circuit board (or just nab the black bar off it's connector). Here is an eBay link
4) visit BMPro Facebook site and ask how you can get this resolved.
Include this url in your post to illustrate the ribbon connector that is near 'X3':
