Unfortunately, it only fixed the issue temporarily. I still was not getting my right tail light to blink or right brake light. After a ton of testing and researching, web combing, I found out that my trailer is fine. 2 Dodges and a Chevy hooked to my trailer had no issues. The issue is with my 2022 F250 that my wife and I had built and received Nov 2021. When lights are on and use the right turn signal, or hit the brakes, I get a fault message in my truck saying "Trailer right turn lamps fault. Check lamps."
I have an appointment with Ford next week, but I found a fix for it. I bought a " TOW READY 20142 7-Way Flat Pin to 7-Flat Plug to Plug Adapter, Regular" on Amazon. It plugs into my truck and trailer plugs into it. It has a resister in it. Tried everything over and over and could not reproduce the issue with my truck and the plug in. So glad the issue is temporarily fixed. Hoping Ford can fix it permanently next week. Maybe this post will help someone else out.
