Bmpro water pump issue? Stumped

2022 Eagle. Last weekend I tried to use water pump for the first time. when switch at outside bay was pressed the red light indicator would come on for a couple of seconds and go off. No response from pump. Got it home, pulled pump and bench tested and still no response. From what I can tell, it looks like freshwater system has never been used so not sure why pump failed.. Installed new pump with slightly more flow. New pump comes on and will pump water for 5ish seconds and red light goes off and pump loses power. System is primed. Valves are oriented correctly. Pumps fine when I disconnect outlet hose and put in 5 gallon bucket. If i crimp outlet hose while flowing into bucket the pump and red light lose power. Seem like the BMPRO is shutting power to it when it recognizes strain? Is there a max amperage limit on water pump within the BMPRO system? Original pump was 3.5 gpm @7.5 max amps new pump is 5.5 gpm @17 max amps

This sounds like the node is not working well. BMPro has had several node upgrades since your (and my) camper was made. I have no experience with this but can suggest a few things to try:
The pump is made to turn on when water is requested (open faucet) and shut off when no water is requested. Did you open a faucet in your testing?
Oh, make sure your fresh water tank is nearly full for your troubleshooting.
You mention the outside switch, have you tried using the pump on/off through the wall tablet?
The pump is 12 volts, have you tried bypassing the node and temporarily run wires from your battery?
TeamBMPro has answered my questions within a day and they also let Jayco know when I ask them a question so I get doublely (is that a word?) contacted back from them both. Here is the link I use to ask them technical questions.
Please post your results and let us know how you get this resolved.

I question the node but when I wire pump directly to separate battery it runs constantly and seems like it's struggling to prime. New pump is substantially larger. I read somewhere that pump circuit is limited to 10amps.. I know the entire camper is rated to 35amp through node. I don't know if the node is smart enough to recognize strain and cut power to pump. I have messaged bmpro but I'm sure they will say replace node. I'm not sure that's the issue. This node may have been replaced already. Not sure..

You're certain your fresh water tank is full, or nearly full - confirm with JayCommand. You're sure have the valves set correctly. Have you confirmed the hoses are connected to the back of the nautilus panel correctly? I can get you diagram if you attach a photo of the front panel. Regarding the node, if you want to know if you have the original, tell me your version. There is a version number on the node itself. I'm on my phone at the moment so can get back you with details tomorrow on node version and Nautilus diagram.

I am not certain panel is connected correctly from factory. I do get strong flow from faucets so probably right.. also, is there just one low point drain on the entire system on the 355mbqs? Also, what are these two lines in pictures? I assume one is tank overflow

Here is the link to BandBMolders (they make the Nautilus water control panel). Look under Products/Nautilus and browse through the different versions comparing the photo that matches your model, then select the document to open for instructions... Plumbing Schematics/User Instructions. It is conceivable your plumbing is connected incorrectly and/or the hose is crimped closed. If the problem remains and you don't get any better help try relisting your post with a subject like "355MBQS Fresh Water Pump Problem"

Got it fixed. New pump was drawing too many amps. According to BMPRO, the jaycommand node latest update changed the max amperage of water pump from 10amps to 12 amps but my new pump was drawing 17amps which was still overloading the circuit. Installed new pump with 7.5 amps and solved issue. Fingers crossed
