Looking for advice on how to tell if the BMPRO in my 2024 Jayco 321rsts is one of the new units without a battery or one that has to have the battery replaced. My is working fine so far, but just want to be prepared if I need to replace the battery. Mine looks like the pic below. 1746538915093.png

If it doesn't show battery charge level on the top right, then it is new model with no internal battery. ie the 100% in the picture you posted.

So I paid the $500 and upgraded to the battery-less "new" Model. After the season was over and it sat for 8 months. I come back and the display turns off when not in use. The problem is the only way I can get the screen back is remove if from it's mount and pull the plug and then plug it back in. Its a PITA. You would think for $500 the damn thing would be flawlesss but oh no

I am at a loss as to what is happening but it does not sound right. I would contact BMPRO

There is a reset button located through a paper-clip size hole just to the right of the RET button. You have to look up to see the hole. Press the paper-clip up into the hole and hold the button for a long press. You will be presented with a menu to reboot the panel, which is exactly what you're doing when you remove and replace power.

I have a new one and it still has a reset. You have to push up through the hole at a slight angle and hold it for a few seconds, then you should see a menu pop up to restart or reset. You are pushing a button on the side of the tablet inside the housing.

I finally removed the thing for the wall and found it. It reset and woke up then after about 5 minutes went dark again.

Does the screen come back on if you double tap it? If so then it's going into a power save mode or screen saver which should be a simple setting change on the tablet.
