Just bought my first Trailer Camper. 2014 Swift 184 BH. Camped a lot while in the Army, thinking this might be a bit more comfortable than that. Looking forward to retirement and traveling. Going to be asking some questions I'm sure. Got some mods and improvements in mind. Lithium Batteries are a start, removal of top bunk and converting that area into two seperate storage areas. One form the main cabin and one from the bath room. LED lights all around. those are the going to do. Maybe add a bit of solar to maintain the batteries while not connected to the truck or using shore or generator. So much info on solar it's just a bit confusing right now. Still thinking about the pro's and cons about that. Anyway thanks to all for letting me join. Donald.

Welcome to the forum. There is alot of helpful people here. You might look into replacing your inverter when you install the lithium batteries so it charges them correctly.

Welcome, everyone starts somewhere and I did too. Now I have 200 watts, 100 amp lithium, MPPT and installed it all myself. Also replaced all running and tails with LEDs plus several other mods.

Now we have camped at places like Great Sand Dunes with solar alone with no problems and in comfort.

Plenty of info here and on youtubes. I found Renogy Learn information useful as a starting point. Use the search button above to see many posts that can be helpful.
