Hi, I am interested in getting a combo unit like one shown here:

My dumb question of the day is, are all of the connectors similar to this phono-style plug? I have a 2004 Qwest and there are sockets above the bunks for these, but I can't seem to see anything in the owners manual that shows how they would connect, etc. Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks!

The receptacle (or outlet) is a cylinder just like you would have on a stereo. And it's flush mounted so all you see is the opening and the collar around it. You just push the connector straight in. Not all TT's come equipped the receptacle (outlet) to take that kind of plug. Check yours first to make sure you have that type of outlet.

If you want to see the actual connection, go to Radio Shack. Or do an internet search for 12V connectors. Good luck - and there are no dumb questions.
