I just purchased Jayflight 31 MLS. I’m not having any luck getting cable reception to my TV. I switched the box from Antenna to cable. I did a channel search on Wall Cable. No signal. When I run a line directly from the box outside, through the window to the TV, I get reception. Any thoughts?

Make sure the signal booster is turned off. There should be a wall plate with a small led light on it with a push button somewhere near your TV. That light needs to be off

I have searched the wall behind the TV and all of the cabinets surrounding the TV, and everywhere else in the trailer, and have not found an antenna signal booster. The manual says that it is optional. I’m assuming I do not have an antenna signal booster. Again, I have searched extensively behind the TV, if anyone has a suggestion of another place to look I’m happy to entertain it. Thank you.

What is your tv set for? You have several input settings in the menu that allow, overair, cable, and sat reception. That will need to be set for cable.

Which box?

I have it set for “wall cable“. The other options are “antenna“ and “satellite cable“.

The box I’m talking about is inside the cabinet beside the TV which is basically a switch to either allow the signal from the antenna or from the cable to go to the TV. Of course I have it set to cable. When I said it to antenna, I do get a lot of antenna (over the air) channels.
