Cable Tv hook up

I read before how to hook up my cable tv on my 2017 grayhawk 31DS. It's still not working.
Turned off the green light by the tv , do I have to scan channels first.it said do you want to scan channels and that where I stoped.

Yep, you need to have TV scan for cable channels.

Every time you hook up to a new site with cable you need to have your TV set to cable and do a new scan.
