Campgrounds E shore Va,????

can anyone recommend a nice CG on the chessy eastern shore. we stayed at cherrystone last spring, and looking at booking our first trip this year, might be there again but would like to get somewhere different. thanks for info

Cherrystone is great especially if you have kids the only other place i have stayed is kippopeake (spelling)state park right down the road from cherrystone not much for younger kids but if you have a boat its some of the best fishing around and the beach is nice. Well better then cherrystones

There is also Tall Pines Harbor. A good bit North of Kiptopeake and Cherrystone.
It's a very nice campground. We stayed there this past Labor Day Holiday and extended our stay until Tuesday. All was fine until Tuesday morning...I guess they quit spraying for misquotes. They were horrible,

We would stay there again. Either in cooler weather or at least not at the end of the Season.
We have several trips planned to Kiptopeake this year...(no kids) two dogs. Stayed there in October of last year and went on down to the OBX from there,,,,,Wish we had stayed in VA.
