Carson CP12 manual/specs?

Been scouting the web, and cannot find documentation on this charger controller. Wondering if anyone has the manual, or knows the DC output going back to the coach battery, and if the charger controller is a flat out charge "old-school" of set amps, or if it has any smarts so as not to boil out a battery. Most of my previous RV's were 80's models, so I got used to disconnecting the trickle circuit and replacing with a battery tender, or such like. be nice if I didn't *have* to. Also looking at the possibility of upgrading to a 30amp convertor so I could add a roof AC in the future - any recommendations as to a particular brand to replace the CP-12 in footprint? (A little large is ok, can widen the panel opening)

Found a paper copy of the CP12/16/24 in a zip lock in one of the drawers. Will see if I can attach it to this post.
