While doing my look over ahead of my start I discovered this in my panel box. Two of the white wires were loose and a screw is missing and if you look to the right of the white wires you'll notice that one of my ground wires is broken. DISCONNECT THE POWER FIRST !!!

While putting in a surge protector last week found almost all of my fuses were loose or not all the way in.

With workmanship this poor it's amazing some of these things work at all. I would tighten all the screws, including the ones on the breakers. Give all the wires a good yank to be sure they're captured under the screws. I see a wirenut there--be sure to try and pull the wires out of that one and any others.

This kind of negligence is what starts fires!
