City Water Hookup issues

When I hook up my Jayco Flight SLX 267 BHSW to the city water line the water pressure at the kitchen sink is much lower ( both hot and cold) than the pressure in the bathroom sink or the bathtub shower taps. I did turn off the Water pump switch at the wall that normally delivers water from the water tank....Any ideas what might be causing this problem??

Have you checked for a dirty/clogged aerator screen on the kitchen faucet??

What Wxman said.
That usually is the cause in new units. All of the "crap" in the lines and tanks from construction flows up and into the aerators, clogging them.

Our trailer is 5 yrs old and been doing that exact same water dance the whole time no matter where we were hooked up. The kitchen faucet does however go full blast when the button is pushed to go from stream (the weak flow) to spray (full power). I'm considering replacing the faucet some day. It's just not that important to us as yet.

Just to be clear, there is a noticeable pressure drop at the kitchen faucet when hooked to city water? Or is there just less pressure at the kitchen faucet all the time? The difference in these 2 scenarios could lead to a better diagnosis of the problem.

Just the answers I was needing today. I cleaned the kitchen faucet and sprayer aerators and now it works great. Before I had zero water. Thanks.
