I can't get close enough even with a ladder to reach the top for washing and detailing..anybody have any tricky way to reach top of cab overhead...pictures would be helpful

To wash I use a long handle RV/car wash brush. To wax I get what I can from below then up on the roof to get the rest. Being 6'4" and a long reach doesn't hurt either.

I use an aluminum extension ladder. I put pool noodles on the top of the ladder, so I don't scratch the RV. I can get 3/4's of it with the ladder. Then up to the roof to finish the rest. Just put 2 coats of REJEX on the front. I do it at least once or twice a year. I also put one coat of REJEX on the rest of the RV. The whole job took one bottle of REJEX, and about 4 days. I don't try to do it all at once.

Similar to Tom, I take my little giant ladder, put some pipe insulation on the sides and am just careful. I have to move it twice to get the whole thing, but as noted, I have to finish from the roof. For washing I use the extension brush.

Just did my Odyssey this weekend, wash and wax for Spring. Use an extension pole to wash, get sides as far over as I can on ladder, the lay on the roof and stretch to get the rest. That wasn’t as hard as cleaning and waxing the rest of the roof :). Wife hates it when I’m up there...she thinks it’s hard on her...

clean and wax cab overhead class c

thanks to all who replied. I am 77 so dw not going to be happy with me on the roof. but it has to be done. plan on using meguiars ceramic spray, read good things about it...

I use a long handle wash brush for cleaning from a step ladder. Brush extends about 6 ft. out. I think brush came from camping world. For the wax I use a regular squeege brush(foam) kitchen type to apply wax. The product I use for wax and sealing is RVTECH SEALNGLOGAL SEAL-N-GLO Wax Exterior Sealant purchased from RV Upgradestore.com. This is the best product I have used. Only requires putting on with the squeege foam brush and then wiping off to dry. It leaves a tremendous shine and helps to repel a lot of debris and bugs going down the road. It's a great product. I really wish there was a some kind of shield to cover the overhead on a Class C because night driving encounters every critter flying.
