I have a 2020 317Rlok
Bedroom tv very snowy. Does any one know where the splitters are I think one of them is loose
Also will the aux input go to all the tvs and can I use that

Any info would be helpful
Thanks

Contact Jayco. They can give you a schematic of the coax and other wiring. Whether they can tell you exactly where the splitters might be is another story. That ends up being a question of where the worked decided to put them.

Here's what they gave me when I asked about coaxial issues. I know in my 2023 355 there is a connector behind the panel in the basement where the external coax connector and the node is. There is also one behind the fireplace. The jack behind the TV also functions as a splitter and signal amplifier when using the over the air antenna. We still have issues getting cable to the mid bunk, but I haven't completed my troubleshooting yet. Good luck.

I have the same issue on the outside TV...IMHO the info from Jayco is no help since it doesn't show the location of the splitters.

True, but they are not that hard to find if you just start pulling panels and looking near where the outlets are.

I’ve got a 21 317rlok. Had the same problem you are having. There was a splitter behind the large tv in the living room for that tv and the tv in the outdoor kitchen. In addition in the basement on passenger side there is a small panel on the left. There was another splitter there for the plug in that compartment and the bedroom tv
Also suggest you pull all the coax outlets and make sure the connections are tight behind the plate. ALL of mine were loose and the picture improved considerably after tightening them

I purchased a coax Explorer kit from Klein to
ols it helped helped quickly find the bad connections and makes troubleshooting easy.

Connectors

2022 317 RLOK: I had to replace every coax connector in the trailer. Everyone was not installed correctly (loose).
Every splitter will reduce your signal 1/2 (3db). If you don’t use an outside tv take the splitter out and use a barrel (female to female connector) to your bedroom tv. The splitter is behind the panel in the garage.
BTW. I am a former DirecTV installer.

Great set of coax schematics. But is there a decoder to know which sheet applies to my camper? I don't see anything that seems to match up in my VIN.

I had to compare the different drawings to what my camper had in terms of input and output terminals and their locations. It didn't take that long to decipher it. You also have to realize that it includes the TV connections on it as well, so ignore them. To me the easiest way to start is with how many input cable connections do you have. I have 3 (Sat, Aux, Cable) so anything that didn't have 3, I eliminated.

the coax in these RV are sad...way too many splitters and bad connections.

In ours, and I think almost all others, the SAT input connection goes straight to one of the two wall plates in the living room. The AUX goes either straight to the bedroom second coax jack or through a splitter to feed all locations with a second coax jack. CABLE input is combined with the antenna feed behind the living room TV and is then split to feed all other locations with either a single or double coax jack. It is messy, but so is my house’s cable routing. I did find some loose connections after looking for all of these buggers.

On the maiden voyage in our 335 RDOK. Same thing, cable is very snowy on all tv’s. Switched the input to the satellite cable and was crystal clear in the bedroom. Tightened the connector behind the input cable jack but didn’t help. Will need to track down the splitters and other connectors. What do you expect for 68,000??!!!

Check the connection on the back of the ant amplifier.
