I have tried every way i can think of to connect the TV to the sound bar through the instruction manual. I changed HDMI cords.. still a know go. I have the HDI plugged in to the HDMI 1 (ARC) jack. i have the furion sound bar on "TV". i have followed the Insignia instructions to the letter (I think). Can someone with similar equipment and perhaps the same problem tell me what i need to do?

Much Appreciated

I see you've had no replies yet. While you await a response, try out the Furrion's (Lippert) soundboard support at support.lci1.com/contact. You can also reach out to their email address at: support@furrion.com
I suggest you take a photo, or two, so they can better understand which model soundboard.
We have JBL sound system. I removed it from the wall to check the back and found that none of the wires were connected. HAHA There was no way the sound could come out of the speakers.

Not sure if I'm 100% answering your issue but for me to get the TV to play on the overhead speakers in my 21 RSTS 5th wheel with the Furrion system I have to plug a small aux audio jack into the TV and then to the AUX input on the front of my Receiver/radio/cd/dvd all in one player. When I select the Aux input I can play the TV through zones one and or two. No amount of messing with the HDMI/optical cables would do the trick. Hope this is of some help.

Now if someone could figure how I can get my Pandora hooked up to the Furrion monster to play on zone three that would be a miracle.

Any luck RU?
I connected an old Insignia sound bar to my old Furrion TV by doing the old "audio out" from TV to "audio in" on the sound bar using the old red & white RCA cables 🙂 it sounds 20 times better...of course you have to power up the sound bar for it to work
