I have 4 of the 27D170 Harris 12v batteries in my battery bank. I have learned only bad things about them. The batteries are not holding a charge. I'm thinking of going with 6v batteries joined in series and parallel. I believe the AGM batteries are better but need a different charge rate than Flooded Lead Acid. Is the converter on the Seneca TS compatible with charging AGM batteries.

Also if a cell goes out while wired series and parallel does it affect the charge capacity.

Thanks in advance for revisiting an ongoing dilemma

Power converter system

I realize my question was premature I have more research I need to do. My power converter is the Progressive Dynamics PD4590K18NS2. I'm Back to it this morning more research!

My 2014 has the same converter, here is the manual. I have also heard from others they are very responsive if you contact them for help.
