Decided to water up the trailer for the first time

Started filling the water tank. That went OK. Started looking for the hot water tank bypass to close it, called the dealer finally and discovered there is no actual hot water tank bypass, the function is taken care of by the valve positions on the Nautilus P4 when winterizing. OK continue on. Can't seem to get any water flowing in the trailer either by city water or pump. After a long time I discovered the water filtration system has a valve and it was closed. Good now water started flowing and flowing until I discovered it coming out of a low point drain blue hose. You would think there was a valve to close to stop the flow but I could not find them. Finally I took off a small cover from the basement wall and sure enough there were the hot and cold low point drain valves. Valves were closed and I finally I got water in the trailer. Why did Jayco put those valves behind a cover in the trailer and not have them outside under the trailer? This whole process took me most of the day and I'm not too impressed with all this complexity of the water system. BTW I couldn't get water out of the fridge, I will try and figure that out tomorrow

I put valves under my rv so I can always access them and leave the ones behind the wall open all the time.

The dealer should of covered all that during your PDI. Did you find the water filters under your bed? They need to be installed. The empty (no filters installed) housing will have what they call a winterization plug inside that is to let the water flow in and out of the housing not tru the filter housing. My shut off valve for the for refrig was in the cabinet to the left of the sink behind the false wall. I just took delivery of a 2025 Pinnacle 32RLTS my dealer explained the water system pretty good.

Well it was very cold during our PDI, they may or may not covered it. I did find the winterization plugs, left those in for the time being. Water is flowing to everything in the trailer except the fridge. I found the false wall and the valve for the fridge. I'm sure it's for the fridge because I can move it and the outside line to the fridge moves. The valve appeared open to me but I turned it 90 degrees anyways, and no water flowed. I had disconnected the line in the back of the fridge so I was sure there was nothing else between the pump and the fridge. I even thought the line was only charged using city water, so I hooked that back up, didn't make a difference, go figure!!! I am now at a loss as to why there is no water to my fridge. A tech is coming out in a week to fix some stuff I am going to have him help me figure it out. Congrats on your new Pinnacle.

Never mind!! I found the second valve behind the garbage can drawer. Evidently since the tip out could be out in freezing weather you need another way to secure water to the line that is under the tip out. I am finally done figuring out the de-winterizing of the water system, stay tuned for next fall when I attempt to winterize. I've winterizing/de-winterizing travel trailers/5th wheels for 30 years, but this one scares me a little.
