Dellcool refrigerator XCD-90B Propane Lights flame while pushing starter and gas buttons but gas flow will not continue when you release the gas button. Replaced Thermocouple and Thermocouple connector but flame goes out immediately when you release the gas button. Verified that the thermocouple is heating up in the flame. turns red hot. Any Suggestions where to go from here?

Welcome to the Forum from Western NY State!

The most common problem is something in the burner tube like a spider web, or a bit of debris in the orifice or burner itself. It only takes one thread of a spider web to cause problems. This is assuming you have enough propane, the fridge is level, and the air adjustment on the burner tube is correct.

Have Vacuumed the burner area and chimney. Burner sparks and lights right away while holding in the Gas button and the starter but gas flow does not continue when you release the buttons. Heated Thermocouple is supposed to sense that the flame is lit and continue the gas flow to the burner. We changed the Thermocouple and have verified it's glowing hot in the flame but does not keep the gas flowing once You release gas safety starter button.

I had a chance to look at the exploded diagram parts list, and your fridge is a bit different than what we have, and I'm used to.

It shows a safety valve (#50), and I don't know how to test it or what it'll do if it goes bad. The other question I have is, does it have a variable air mixture collar on the gas tube. That's where a spider web (only takes one strand) causes havoc on our style fridge.

I think the gas safety valve is connected to the button that you push along with the stater button to start the gas flow and get flame from starter. That Works but gas does not continue to flow when button released. Thinking Maybe bad Gas solenoid valve or whatever is controlling that to open valve when flame is sensed by the thermalcouple?

this is gas safety valve to the right bottom of pic must be gas solenoid valve.
