So been fighting with our 174BH since we got it. It has been like sleeping on a waterbed. Even with the rear stabilizers down, we can feel every time our 10yr old would move. So I started a search for a fix. Found tons of options from bottle jacks to $500 add on stabilizers to install. But then I found the video below from a guy for a DIY option. I had wood from an old project and figured what the heck. went to the store and bought about $10 in hardware and built a set. Took it out a couple weeks ago and WOW, what a difference!! I built my set to go under the A-frame since it only had the single point of the jack to stabilize it. This made the front of the trailer rock solid and removed at least 75-80% of the wobble! Which made me want to share this info to help anyone fighting the same issues we were with stabilizing their rig while camping.

After our first trip with this, I made a simpler set that just wedges under the rear but still uses the same physics and a ratchet strap. Can't wait to get out and give those a try!
