I have actually seen one on an RV with 2 doors. It had a ramp that led to the portable dog run. It was kind of cool.

Why would you do that? If you are at a park, the dog should be on a lease. Right?

Not everyone that owns a camper uses their camper at an RV park. Some friends mine just bought one to live in on their property while their house is being built.

It seems like it would be useful while camping if you had a fenced area on your site. I see them often - all different kinds of material and configurations. We used to have one with folding panels that were connected with hinges. We called it the "Pugpen".

If your dog(s) are door trained and you can confine them to your site, why not?
