Took the shower curtain down today in our WhiteHawk and installed a folding or pleated shower door from Irvine....don't know how well they work...read a few decent reviews....but the DW and I were getting tired of the shower curtain sticking to us in the very small limited space one has in those tiny tubs.

Nice........I would think as long as you sealed it properly and didn't plug the weeps in the bottom track it will perform just fine. Good idea.

A really good idea! I've sold a few of those in my Kitchen/Bath Designer days. Always thought the plastic would be a lot lighter in weight than the typical safety glass shower door. Ideal for a TT. And it should do a better job (than a curtain) of keeping the water inside the shower - where it belongs!

Let us know if you like it, our shower curtain is getting ugly fast. Looks like a good option. I wonder how much light it blocks for showers at night, and if it gets moldy.

Thanks!

With our WhiteHawk 30DSQB the ceiling light is positioned in a spot that allows much more light now that we ever got with the shower curtain....the shower curtain ran on a track attached to the ceiling which really did block the light.....this door is lower allowing light to come in over the top.

It's recommended that you leave it partially open to dry before you fold it back completely against the wall. It folds back and is tied back with a holding strap to within 4" of the wall but not until it's dry.

Okay......first showers have been taken....shower door installation is worth every bit of that $75 price tag.....sure provided much more room to move about....no clinging shower curtain to fight....with the position of our ceiling light, more light coming into the shower at night.....the biggest factor is the added room.....with a couple of touchups on the clear silicone caulk, water getting outside of tub is now history as well.
