Hello. We have a 2020 Precept 29V. We recently removed the doghouse to line with Dynamat to reduce noise and heat levels. While the doghouse was removed, I noticed a 3 inch flexible ducting vent that was completely smashed between the sub-floor and the frame. I have not yet traced out the other end. Does any one have any idea what this ducting vent is for? I would like to have a better understanding of what this is before I contact Jayco.

Thanks for any info.

Nancy

Possibly smooshed in there when house was put on frame. Without knowing where (or if it has a destination) my best guess would be a scrap of vent tubing. All of your heating/AC ducting would be in the overhead. Your furnace ducting would be on the floor. Do all of your furnace ducts have air coming from them?

X2.

Also, if you want to see a duct nightmare look under your dash and up at the blower box in your engine bay.

Thanks Don!! I will check the floor vents to ensure there is indeed flow. I will eventually trace out the other end of this ducting.
