The DW has been working hard in persuading me to install a bidet for her princess behind for the past year. I finally decided to install one for her highness.
I had to purchase a ½” three-way tee connector to install the bidet. The part that comes with the bidet is 7/8” x 7/8” by ½”. I also had to make a little PEX extension because the hose that came with the bidet was just not quite long enough to reach the new tee connector.
As far as mounting the bidet, well two modifications had to be one. With the brand I purchased I need to cut down part of the mounting surface plate so the bidet would sit back more toward the rea of the bowl. However before cutting the mounting plate, I had to take apart the bidet and re-route one of the water lines that passed through where I needed to cut.
All in all the DW is happy.
Now I just need to remember to add this to the winterization checklist when doing the water lines.
