I just noticed that the right side marker lights, running lights, and right tail light is on. My 5ver is not connected to my tow vehicle. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? What would cause the marker lights to mystically come on, and only be one side of the camper? I opened the electrical box at the pin to look for loose wires, corrosion, and anything not normal. I checked the 7 pin plug and sprayed WD40 thinking it may be dirt? But any help on narrowing this down is appreciated.

there is a box that controls the smart features of the trailer running lights and blinkers. Remove AC power and remove DC power by tripping battery Circuit Breakers in the battery compartment. This should reset the smart module. Do this at night if you have solar or disconnect solar to remove all DC power.

thanks for the answer. I am struggling with where the circuit breaker is you are talking about. If you could take a pic and post it that would help. I tried to shut AC power and through the kill switch near the auto level key pad, but that did not work. I still have the right side on. Thanks again

Did you figure this out? We just bought 2020 317rlok and our door side marker lights were staying on. Well 2 nights ago i pushed both awning buttons to retract them at same time and apparently overloaded something cause now those marker lights are off and slide buttons quit working. I can extend and retract main awning on my touch screen but the awning over outside kitchen was never on the touch screen. I’ve checked all my fuses and can only find the outlet on kitchen island with reset button. Someone said pass thru storage had one but i can’t find it. I’d rather have those lights on and my awning buttons working🤣. We tried disconnecting the battery to see if that would reset and unplugged whole camper but didn’t work. Let me know once you figure it out please! We have mobile repair guy coming but it’ll be over week before he can come out to fix slide. Yay camping life is great!!

No I have not figured this out. I made a jumper cable for the 7 pin connector and that has turned the lights off. A temp fix that appears to not affect anything else yet. I've contacted Jayco and they sent a pdf wiring schematic. I have attached maybe it will help you hopefully.

I did that same disconnecting battery and the problem has remained.

Electrical gremlins are frustrating. If it was mine doing that, I'd check inside the 4x4 junction box for anything amiss with a test light or digital VOM.

Is it correct that they stay on when you took the positive cable off the battery, and it's not plugged into your truck?

The camper was not plugged into tow vehicle. I disconnected the shore power (shut off breaker), disconnected the neg terminal only. And also turned off the red kill switch in the bay. There was no 120 or 12 volt power running in the camper. All the lights did go out. I waited about 5 minutes, turned everything back on and connected. Still the same result.

On my unit the control box for the trailer lights are behind the propane bottles on the left side. There is a indicator light on the box and trouble code sticker on the side for diagnostics.

Good info here New JAYSMART LED Lighting System

Well, the saga takes a turn today. I was walking around the camper tonight wondering where to start looking for a bad ground, loose wires, or anything. Then I noticed that my backup camera blue light was on. We are stationary so I figured don't really need that light on. So I went inside and flipped the camera switch off. Came outside and noticed the marker lights were also off.

I have an RV Tech coming tomorrow to help troubleshoot - I can see this is going to be a goose chase. I only wish I knew what changed....

I'm not a master electrical type guy, but I'm wondering if somehow the camera is back feeding the marker, tail light circuit, which is all powered from the green 14 ga wire from the trailer plug. With everything unplugged or disconnected, how its getting power is a mystery, at least from this distance.

do you have a switch in the bedroom to turn on the camera...and is it on?

My BU camera is powered from the marker lights. Maybe yours is too, but the power from the switch isn't isolated from the marker circuit?

Yes the camera power switch is in the bedroom. I turned the camera switch off and the marker lights went out. I think the power being back fed has something to do with the gremlin now. The strange thing, only the right side upper and lower marker lights along with the right brake light.

Jayco was not any real help. They did give the schematics for the external lights so I guess it helps with troubleshooting.

Maybe this becomes an extended warranty concern now. At least I don't have to go to a dealer to use my extended warranty. :)

Initially I thought nothing of the right lower side marker light having 2 out 3 LEDs working. Tonight, looking at it more closely it was fully of water. So I opened it, cleaned it, cleaned the silicon off the camper and drained the water out of the rubber padding on the back of the camera/marker light. So with this thought I was wondering if I could replace the LEDs, maybe that is the problem, the bad LED is causing the feedback.

So like an Amazon commando I found the exact Furrion side marker camera set. Right and Left with cameras for 89$. I ordered and should be here in a couple of days.

Hopefully this is it...

Can u post link to these plz. We don’t have a back up camera but i see one in our future?

Solved. The marker light w/ camera on the front right side had an LED out and water inside the body. Replaced with the new marker light/camera and issue has been resolved. Thanks to all with suggestions.
