Anyone change one of the roof clearance bulbs yet?
Jayco says lens cap pops out to get to bulb from outside.

The clearance lights are a chore to replace. I tried several of the options presented (screw in middle and pull, pot out, cut around edges and pull) all to no avail. The amount of rubberized material holding them in place from inside was the problem. My solution was to use a dremel saw bit and cut all around the wires through the rubber material allow the wire to pull out. The grommet was cut and the amber light cover pried off. This left enough from for the saw bit. Caution must be taken not to enlarge the fiberglass opening. Finally using a needle nose the rubber could be pried apart and removed allowing the wires to be pulled out. Connection blocks usually remained intact so swapping out the lights was easy. I used silicon around the new grommet but did not fully gunk up the inside with this. Hoping a waterproof installation occurred (no rain yet). Lights are very available (Amazon). It is a major pain in the heine to replace. Had to do two of them in the front. Learned the hard way... first by trying to see how they are wired up from the inside I had to remove various panels. They are caulk in with a liberal amount of caulk. This took me about 4 hours to replace one (I am not as handy as some but I can DYI)
The second one took a lot less time because I worked from the outside. Using needle nose pliers and a blade was able to get it out. About a week later someone posted an much better method. They said to drill a whole through the center of the light and then screw in a screw that will screw in nice and snug. Then use a pair of pliers to pry it out. I am hoping I don't have to try it but at least I hopefully will have an easier time.
