factory installed LED outside light strip

Has anyone replaced there factory installed strip to the RGB one instead. Really like the light strip but the factory one are a little to bright for my liking. Plus with themm being bright white they attract a lot of bugs.

Yes, I hear you. I haven't been camping with my new Jayco yet, but I'm already worried about attracting bugs to the door. Does anyone know if there are battery powered amber porch lights that could be attached outside the door?

Couldn't you simply add a dimmer so that the led stip can be dimmed? I know that's what I am doing with most of my led's. I like the results, especially at night when we only want to have mood lighting...

I wonder if something like this would work for you

That's a good idea, but I'd have to take a look at whether there is room to install it. I'd still like to know, though, if there are any battery powered amber porch lights that could be installed outside the door.
