We take delivery of our new 377RLBH next within the next month. I always put roof vent covers over the vents be they with or without fans.

There are Fan-Tastic Vent Covers on sale that I would like to purchase ahead of time. Need help on knowing if black or smoke colors would be the best match. I believe the A/C units are black (?) so black would go best, but smoke would at least let some light show through when the fan vent lid itself were open..

Any advice from those that have "been there done that" would be very much appreciated.

Thanks much in advance.

My opinion is that I would want the smoke on the kitchen went. The vent over the bunk and in the bathroom would be black. The only reason would be because my daughter will sleep longer in the bunk if it's darker and the bathroom already has a skylight, so no need for the smoke in my opinion.

Great rationale on the vent over the loft and having the skylight in the bathroom. Had not given that a thought. My only concern then would be that the vent over the kitchen would not match the other two if it were smoke and the other two were black.

Thanks again for your insight.

I don't have the second AC, so I have the vent with a smoke cover in the bedroom. It gives off a horrible looking light.
For the little light you would get in the kitchen it's not worth it to be that awful dim smokey light. There are enough big windows for light.
I vote for all black, and according to PPL the black is on sale for $45 and the smoke is over 100

This is my first trailer with a fantastic fan....do they need their own vent cover or can a generic camco vent cover work? I can pick those up at wally world for $20 in white (then paint them black)
