Feather Micro Generator storage

I'd like to get some feedback on this idea whether it's a good or bad idea. I don't use the outside refrigerator and hate the idea of the wasted space so I was wondering if it would be reasonable to store the generator there. Here is a picture of it sitting in there. Fitting and traveling with are two different things. Thoughts?

It appears to be a great location imo. Keep in mind that most all guidance states not to store gasoline or gasoline engines in a non-ventilated compartment. With that in mind I may would consider adding vents to the compartment if possible. Also, many storage compartments do not have a strong floor in them however, if it was designed to hold a refrigerator I would suspect that it would be stronger than most storage compartments would be. ~CA

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't and don't plan on running gasoline in it. It is a dual fuel generator and I only intend to use propane as a source. That compartment had a metal floor support in it which I left to help support the generator. I plan on adding security straps to it also.

As above, gasoline fumes would be my big worry. Small engines invariably leak gas and oil over use and time. Smelling it would be bad, catching fire would be a bit worse. Ventilation of the compartment and sealing off from the rest of the RV would be required. Or put a box on the bumper.

I'm not going to use gasoline. Just propane so that would have to help. It hasn't had a drop of gasoline.

Looks nice. I love my dual fuel genny. I've only used it on propane. Did not use it all last year. Pulled it out and it fired right up with two pulls. The starter motor battery was dead.
