Looking for advice regarding sliding fifth whee; hitch.
Pulling a 2020 Pinnacle 32 with 2016 Ford F350 short box 4X4
Currently using Anderson Hitch and like it because its easy to remove etc.
Almost (wife stopped me just in time) hit the cab while backing into our home parking space. had to work around other cars parked on the street etc.
Have always heard that its not if you hit but when you hit, trying avoid this.
Looking at Pull-right 2714 and the Dem-co hitches.
We have a mor-ryde pin box so a plate is required for either one.
Any recommendations?

I have the Moryde pinbox on our Eagle. Tow with a shortbed 2019 3500 Mega cab Ram. I have the pullrite superglide and really like it. I used a standard hitch on my old truck for awhile till I kissed the cab. Damaged my truck and the front cap of the rig. Bought the Superglide for the old truck, towed for 12 years with it no problems so the superglide for the new truck was a no brainer. Wanted to try the Superlite but it was damaged in shipping. I like that the Superglide centers directly over the rear axle unless you are turning. It's also a few lbs lighter than the Demco. The Demco you dont need an adapter but can find yourself needing to adjust the bolts to your pinbox to release or hookup. Plenty of youtube vids on em.

Pullrite superglide here... Hitch works great! Only grope is it is too heavy for one old fart to lift in and out.
My solution was a lawnmower battery, chunk of two wire cable and a 12 volt atv winch mounted to garage trusses with angle bar.
Have a wheeled dolley roll it into a corner when not in use.
Otherwise the hitch just works
No issues and had it for 5 years

I have an Andersen and have never come close. Just wondering, if your red block in front or behind your king pin?

Honestly, if I ever do another 5'er, it will have a Reese Goose Box. While the Andersen is easy to remove, there is not remove on the Goose Box.
