Filling Fresh water tank

I have a question about filling my fresh water tank. I have a 29.5 bhds with a control panel that looks like the attached picture. I thought all I had to do was to make sure valve #1 was in the correct position. However, after looking through the owners manual it says I need to not only put valve #1 in the correct position, but also flip one of the 2 valves that are next to my pump. Since the manual covers every fifth wheel that was made by Jayco in 2017, I wanted to ask here if that is correct for my model.

Nothing else to do. Flip the lever and you’ll hear it fill.

That is correct, just flip the valve on the control panel.

The manual is a bit confusing about all the different settings. Refer to it when you want to do a country fill (or add antifreeze).
