Hello, I had a birthday last month and my DW and my church member were just getting around giving me a belated birthday party so this is one of my mod. I bought some Fuel Wheels and had them put on the other day, even my DW like them.
That really looks nice. Makes that white pop. As a life long chrome guy the black trim I'm seeing on a lot of vehicles is starting to grow on me. I have a new F350 on order. My kids talked me in to getting the Ford rapid red with the black appearance package which means almost no chrome. I had decided to change the order back to the chrome package but before I could do it the truck got scheduled. Too late to change anything now. Sure hope I like it.
Looks great Big!
Looks good Big 1. Beautiful truck. I’ve been debating a dually, I came across these the other day while searching accessories.
With a pic. I also added a turnout tip. The exhaust on these diesels gets HOT and with the factory pipe it was pointing right at the front hydraulic jack and I believe that heat led to a failure of the hose. Just seems like a really poor design to have the exhaust venting to the rear on something designed to pull a trailer behind it...

Thinking about this, it might have been Home Depot but I think both of them carry it. I used one can per side.
Removed the wheels, taped off and draped in plastic anything I didn't want sprayed, did a light sanding with 220 grit to scuff up the undercoat and then did multiple light coats. It dries enough to recoat fairly quickly but needs to cure overnight before driving.
Dang, that looks good, Love those wheels. Now to convince the DW that mine would pull better with new rims....
Looks great. And I like those wheels too. I’m way out from doing wheels, but I’ve been looking. GM put 18” wheels on the 2024 higher trim levels but I can’t find anything but 17’s, 20’s and 22’s. Pulling a FW I don’t want to go bigger do to ride height and speedo issues. In addition there’s only one tire on planet earth in the stock 18” size.
Excellent work, Big1. My new F350 is on a train somewhere working it's way to my dealer. I ordered the wheel well liners because I think they look so much better than painted. Your well liners cost a whole lot less than the factory version and works just as well.
